Well........my fav time of year is officially over, & I will be a little down for awhile! It's just that every season I am reminded of seasons past....& all the GREAT memories (& not so great ones) that I've shared with friends & family....some of whom are no longer with us!! I am reminded of my Grandparents who were married over 50 years.....but still every year on the day that USC played Notre Dame....never said a word to each other!! They called it "no-speak" day......simply because they were 100% Irish - my grandma could not bring…

Is USC Responsible for the Pac-10 demise??

I just read an article that said as a summary....that USC's non-stoppable recruiting has caused the destruction of all the other pac-10 teams & in turn has hurt itself in the BCS standings because it's conference SUCKS!!!! This is very interesting to me...because I understand & somewhat agree that this could be the case of what has happened to the pac-10.....it is a good arguement!! I am always amazed that theseplayers who would be starters on any other team...sit on the bench @ 2nd or even 3rd stringers on USC!!!! But my own opinion is that it takes a SPECIAL…

My family & I have been USC Trojan fans since before I was even thought of........and in my SC history I dont ever remember such a BIG GAME so early in the season!! ONLY 5 days til we find out who the TRUE #1 TEAM IN THE NATION IS (USC -vs- OHIO ST)!!!!!!!!!!!!! (and truthfully win or lose....I'm a DIE-HARD COLLEGE FOOTBALL FAN....I LIVE for this time of year!!!!!!!!!!) So no matter who you are rooting for this weekend......rememeber, I FEEL YA!!

Coach Carroll has another stellar recruiting class ready to enroll in the fall of 2009 including the next Johnny Unitas (Matt Barkely), the next Reggie Bush (Patrick Hall), and the next Lawrence Taylor (Vontaze Burfict). Even if Mark Sanchez, Taylor Mays, and C.J. Gable go to the NFL the Trojans have so much depth that there will be no dropoff in our level of play. I'm not sorry to see Steve Sarkisian and Nick Holt leave for Seattle. Coach Carroll will find better people to replace them with. A huge game to look forward to is a showdown with Ohio State at Ohio Stadium in September 2009. Fight on!
