I totally understand teams wanting to be #1 and feeling they deserve a shot at the national championship - especially if they beat a team head-to-head that is in the game. I totally get that and it sucks to get the shaft. I am was an Auburn fan and 2004 sucked (so did 2008 and the firing of Tuberville, but that is another post). Looking at the three teams who played in BCS games, but not the title games, Utah and USC were far more impressive than Texas. Regardless of who wins, this should be an exciting an entertaining game. I can't wait!! Final Mid Major Conference Rankings

Even though there is still a game to play with the mid majors, I think it is safe for me to go ahead and give my final rankings for these conferences. Regarding the rankings, I honestly don't know how to rank the mid majors. I don't watch enough games to know each conference that well. What I do know is bowl season.
