Anyone who discounts the idea of
athletes using businesses to inflate their wallets should see this.
While walking through Oakridge Mall in San Jose today, I passed a
sports merchandise store. You know, one of those t-shirt shops that
sells jerseys and jackets of the local team. Here was the sign
outside

With Michael Crabtree's performance in
his first game as a pro future draft picks are going to say "see.
He didn't attend training camp and held out a month into the season,
& when he finally played he had a good game. I'm going to do the
same thing." This is a bad precedent. Not to mention Crabtree
saying he was out there "to have fun". Uh no. You're a
professional now. You are there to help your team win.

Yes, he had a good game, but Vernon
Davis had a better one. The problem of course is that this time, the

Crabtree meets with 49ers

So now Michael Crabtree wants to meet
with the Niners. I'm guessing this has to do with the fact that the
team is 3-1 (3-0 in division) with a 2 game lead in the NFC West.
Naaah. That couldn't be it! The fact is this guy could end up being a
cancer on a team that finally has a persona that fits.
