Honorable mention: EagleBank Bowl: Navy vs. Wake Forest I would have loved for the MIDS to get to play Miami (The U) instead of Wake Forest but something about scheduling finals (wah, wah, wah), and we have a second meeting with the Deamon Deacons. Anyway, in what will be an almost home game for Navy (Navy played Air Force at Redskins Stadium a few years back). Just about everyone who follows college football saw Oklahoma destroy Texas Tech 65-21 in Norman yesterday. Those same people most likely saw Texas lose to Texas Tech in Lubbock the two weeks prior. You all probably know where I am going with this, as the same folks saw Texas beat Oklahoma on the grounds of the Texas State Fair at the annual Red River Rivalry. Notre Dame, Navy, and the Future of Charlie Weis

No matter what I say or do, Navy still lost this past weekend in Baltimore. Navy did however manage to do some great things in defeat. They totally shut down Jimmy Clausen in the first half forcing him to throw two interceptions and one fumble. However, I cannot let Navy off the hook for the simple mistakes, as although Navy has come a long way in the past few years, they still cannot afford to give the Irish easy yards on off-sides penalties, false starts, fumbles and a blocked punt returned for a score.…
