It is Monday, August 27th, and the Yankees are 7.5 back in the east, and 2.0 back in the Wild Card. As a Yankee fan, I've been hoping all of these streaks that the Yankees have gone on, where they have gone 8-2, 9-1 in 10 games would lift the Yankees ahead of the Red Sox, but I've come to the conclusion, the Red Sox just don't lose. It seems whenever the Yankees lose, the Red Sox gain another game over them. It also seems that after the Yankees go 8-2 in 10, they then go 4-6 in 10 games.
