Today's starting outfield is Ryan Ludwig, So Taguchi, and Rick Ankiel. Not a one of them starters at the begining of the season. It is a sign that the outfield situation has suffered greatly this season, and a lot in recent memory. Another loss to the Pirates and our road trip starts at 1-2. Next on the schedule, the lowly Washington Nationals, another well below .500 ballclub. Who's on first? Cardinal fans may know the answer to that question, but on any given day you can't account for any other position on the field.
