Die-hard Red Wings' fan (aren't all Wings' fans die-hard, anyway? Actually...aren't all hockey fans die-hard?). Devoted fan of all Detroit professional sports: Tigers, Wings, Pistons...and... sadly, the [Cursed/Doomed] Lions. As Michigan State U alum, am obligated to support Spartan athletic teams. Graduated in '02 and witnessed couch burning, tear gas and riot gear, hoops despair and elation, hockey greatness, Nick Saban before greatness at LSU, etc. Learned to enjoy football somewhat via a die-hard LSU fan. Thus, not a fan of USC. For reasons that may not actually be rational. As a sometimes resident of Los Angeles, I despise the Lakers. I feel bad for the LA Kings. And I don't care about USC, UCLA and other college football rivalries. I dream about the day the NHL makes it big...
