We just received our invoice in the mail for our season tickets and I had to note something strange about it.The invoice is a whole month early. "Oh, they must of just sent them out early to give fans a little more time to gather their money."I was dead wrong. The invoice shows a due date a whole month earlier than usual. The Redskins are now asking their loyal fans to pay their season ticket invoices earlier for a mediocre produt. I had to write this after reading Peter King's column (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/writers/peter_king/02/03/wrapup/index.html?eref=T1) because he is flat out wrong and the picture is much like the news and sports media today, small snippets that are out of context and overblown.*disclaimer*I am no fan of either team in the Super Bowl.By all means looking at the picture you would think, "Oh geez, it was a fumble" but what the picture doesn't show you is his arm microseconds before that, which clearly was farther back and moving forward before the fumble occured. I recently read a blog post by DC Pro Sports Report ( http://www.fannation.com/blogs/post/326435-snyders-holds-the-line-on-tickets-but-perhaps-he-should-cut ) that really touched on an issue I have had with the Redskins organization for 2 years now.I have been a season ticket holder with my best friend for 2 years now and I have to say it is the most agonizing thing I have ever done.
