I'm a long-time MSU fan. Earned my BA and a graduate degree at MSU. Haved loved that place all my life. Also got a graduate degree at Michigan, and enjoyed that experience very much. It was great and I've benefited from it in many ways. Have lost all respect for UM sports because of arrogance by the athletic department and so many fans who truly believe they are God's gift to all things athletic. They are spoiled, arrogant, self-centered, Narcissists who don't handle losing (or winning) very well. Love the institution, hate how they represent themselves in public. Somebody needs to slap them up regularly until they finally match the quality they offer in their academics. Doubt that will happen.

Forget all the hype about the election; Obama won, and will be our president. The Dems have won substantial majorities in the Congress. Now the Dems have to do something or they'll be right where the Republicans have just been. The Dems have been there before, and got their butts kicked. It's just the Rep's turn now. It is an ugly cycle.We'll all be OK; there will be changes, and not all will be good or bad. We've been through these kinds of changes in our history and the country has persisted for over 230 years.
