After reading many posts about who was robbed and why concerning the Big12 south race, I had one thought. There is a team much more likely to be robbed than either of those 3. Alabama.

It seems highly likely that Alabama will lose to Florida in the SEC Championship game on Saturday. Assuming this is the case they will watch any NC hopes go out the window and will be stuck watching a from home while a less deserving team plays in Miami. The best scenario would be for Oklahoma to beat Missouri. This would make a Florida-Oklahoma game reasonable. However, if Oklahoma loses, then who should…

Unlucky Week 13 - BCS Nightmare

After an extremely quiet week 12, week 13 is looking to return to form and give the computers and pollsters a case of indigestion. In a week of several upset possibilities, let's work the numbers.

Texas Tech (2) @ Oklahoma (5) - this appears to be a no-brainer upset call. TT has run a gauntlet the past few games and that was at home. Oklahoma knows this is a must win if they want a shot at the big game in January and the hometown fans will remind them of it every step of the way.

BCS Nightmare Scenario

With Penn State's loss and Texas Tech's upcoming challenge in Norman, an unlikely scenario is becoming more probable. Consider the following scenario:

1. Winner of the Big 12 South (Texas Tech, Texas, or Oklahoma) loses to Missouri.

2. Alabama and Florida win out and face each other in the SEC Championship as #1 vs #3 (or even worse #1 vs. #2 if Tech loses to OK). Florida defeats Alabama.

3. Oregon State wins out to take the Pac-10 title.
