The memory is still fresh in my mind. It's April 8th, 2010 and it's Fan
Appreciation Night at the Dallas Stars'final home game. There is 5:28
remaining in the final period, and a previously recorded message to the fans
from Mike Modano is playing on the big screen. Clapping and cheering, the crowd
of just over 18,000, including all the players, rise to their feet. Modano
buries his head in his glove. After a 2 minute ovation, he picks up his head.

Cowboy's Draft

While watching the Cowboys season officially come to a close today, I was
wondering what they might do in the NFL Draft in April. They have some holes to
fix, but what is the most important position on the field? Quarterback. Nothing
against Tony Romo, he's a good player; but what has he done lately? Yes he got
the Cowboy's their first playoff win in 10 years, but that is not a
championship, and that's how success is measured in Dallas.

Perfection

It's just happened again. Why is that that every time a team and or player gets close to completing a perfect season or another great feat, the media blows it up, and it never ends up happening.
