i am writing this in the hopes that someone with a little pull with the carolina panthers will see it and do something about it. please forget about peppers he isn't the biggest problem that this team has if he wants out then show him the door and free up some cap space. the reason i say this is that their are a lot of great cornerbacks that are looking for work now like bly and mcalister just to name a few. my suggestion would be to cut lucas free and let him go and find some other team to draw pass interferance for and lets pick up someone who can actually cover a wr in the nfl.

I am so tired of hearing about julius peppers and wheither or not the carolina panthers will franchise tag him or not. i am not in any way a professional at trades or any thing else in the nfl i am only a big fan of the panthers and i don't want this idiot to cost the team more money than they can afford next year especially if he does like it has been reported and sits out the 2009 season. i say trade him or let him walk and pick up, in a trade ,or in free agency atleast one corner to help the secondary. oh and cut lucas he can't cover anyone anyway.

i think the panthers should contact any team with a decent qb they would be willing to trade for peppers like new england and cassel or cincy and palmer or any good qb because jake needs a real threat to his starting job.
