First off, long and short, die-hard Detroit Tigers supporter and ticket holder. Don't like it? Then don't talk to me and waste my time... 2 chicks in my life,my wife and a fantastic little girl- yeah, my daughter. My world revolves around those two. Best part- my wife is a cubs fan and I am, as stated a tigers fan, well the wifey tried to get my daughter to wear a cubs hat the other day and my daughter took it off, looked at it, therw it down and then proceeded to take my hat off and wear my tigers hat. Losing seasons might be hard to stomach but that moment makes everything worth it! Ha!

Gwyneth was diagnosed with type 1 Neurofibromatosis just a few months ago. As of now, my daughter is only two and a half.

She can also develop visible tumors on her skin, bone abnormalities, and heart…

Well, thank you all for your well wishes and prayers.  They are greatly appreciated....    Gwyns visit to Riley went pretty well.  Basically they did confirm what we already knew.  She does indeed have Neurofibromatosis I and she does have tumorous "gliomas" on her optic nerves.  That being said, she is quite an amazing child and is doing very well.  Due to the sensitive placement of these tumors we cannot know if they are cancerous or not.  Nor are they in a placement where surgery can be performed with out severe risk to the individual. …

Dear Anyone,     Welcome to the new perennial phenomena. Superbowl hang-over?  No.  College hoops gaining momentum?  No. Pataxony Phil seeing his shadow and running back into his hole for the next 6 weeks?  Nope- not that either...  But then if someone asked this Phil if he would like to go sleep for the next 6 weeks?  Heck, I'd crawl back into my hole too.  For me, it used to be the annual day that pitchers and catchers reported for Spring training.  But now thats gone as well.       Our new annual…
