On the day in which the Detroit Lions and their star first round pick, Calvin Johnson, reached a six year agreement that would pay the former Yellow Jacket millions of dollars, I am finally starting to buy into the Lions hype. Maybe it is because of this year's draft where they had a good first day. They picked up not only Johnson, but made Drew Stanton their quarterback of the future with their second round selection. I am not a Detroit sports fan by any stretch of the imagination, but I must say I feel hope for the fans in the Motor City.No more are the days under the woeful Joey…
