I'm a brake part. I was assembled in Detroit where I was installed in a 1976 Ford LTD. The Ford and I were subsequently shipped to San Bernardino, CA and sold to a young couple starting a family. I spent 5 years with them and was sold to an aspiring rock star who spent most of the mid-eighties waist-deep into nothing special just west of Hollywood. Since then, I've had numerous owners and experiences and have traveled the US as well as parts of Canada and Mexico extensively.
