When Selena Roberts, a respectable writer for publications such as The New York Times and Sports Illustrated, released the allegations that Alex Rodriguez had been using steroids, it was a sad day in the baseball world. The one player who we thought would save the game by being perhaps the best "clean" athlete to ever play it turned out to be just another steroid user. I guess it's time to start rooting for the Rangers again. Sure, they've gone 48 seasons without winning a playoff series (their entire existence) which is more than any other team, but let's face it, right now, they're our best hope. They're actually trying to build a good young team. They MIGHT be good in a couple years.
