The game of the Penguins looks smooth so far in the playoffs. Eventhough Sergej Gonchar seems to have some problems with his knee, he still gets a lot of ice-time. Sid and Geno are producing point after point and Jordan Staal's line does a pretty good job against the top lines. After a tough round against Philadelphia and an even tougher series against Washington, the signs look good for this years Stanley Cup Finals. Still, I expect Carolina to battle hard, but if the Penguins are able to win a game there, they have the best chance to take away the series. And with Detroit also…

Crosby back from injury - 4 points against the Rangers

Last night the Penguins showed why they are going to make the playoffs. The game started with a hammer. The hammer of Eric Godard. He took Colton Orr down, when they were fighting only 3 seconds into the period. Sidney Crosby had a big night scoring with a nice backhander and adding three assists. Kris Letang scored twice. Looks like he had an awesome Allstar-Weekend. Marc-Andre Fleury made good, solid saves. This was the best Penguins game I saw in a long time. It's still a long time until the playoffs start, but if they can keep this up, they definitively are going to make the playoffs.

Great win over the Rangers.With Sidney Crosby back in the lineup and Marc-Andre Fleury showing off his skills this afternoon the Pittsburgh Penguins won 3-0. He turned away all 33 Shots, earning his 2nd shootout this season. Chris Minard, Tyler Kennedy and Petr Sykora scored the goals. This is how I like to see the team. Always fighting for the puck. Evgeni Malkin crunched Nik Zherdev in the 2nd period. Really nice hit. I think Malkin likes to play against other russian players. The Penguins traded for Garon yesterday in a deal that sent Dany Sabourin, Ryan Stone and a 2011 4th round draft…
