Many professional athletes can retire pretty much whenever they want. Thats not like most Americans who will give whatever they have for that kind of freedom. I mean, if Matt Ryan wanted to, he could wait until his contract is up and just retire. Alright, Alright. I knowI'm probaly going to take alot of heat for this but I truly believe Philadelphia is the BEST town for Basketball. And I dont mean just professionaly. So, here are a few facts to back-up my statement.Six Division I schools in the city. Six! I know down in North Carolina they are a hot-bed for hoops but nothing comes close to the tradition of the Big 5 and the Penn Palestra. Sixers Are Still A Few Moves Away...

The Philadelphia 76ers have made a huge deal in getting Elton Brand. I think I speak for all Sixers Fans when I say I hope he delivers and gets us deep in the playoffs. However, the Sixers did absolutely nothing in helping their dead-last 3 pt. shooting % last year. They needed big man help and got it, now lets get a perimeter shooter and with our almost-potent fastbreak game, our half-court offense could put up plenty of points also with a balanced inside-out philosophy. opinions?

I am in a tournament with 16 people all about Phillies sports. I am ranked 15th and I am taking on the 2 seed about who is the best Phillies player ever. I need your vote. I am going for the upset.

I am losing a TD to a guy who thinks Bosh is better than Dirk, Baron Davis is better than AI, and admitted he was dumb for forgetting to put Shawn Merrion in the top 3 players at SF.

Cool...

Except BLIND optimism...again, MOST Eagles fans are homers in that they only see their players or team as the best even if they were 2-14 the year earlier...it will be SUPER BOWL Victory this upcoming year for them...but they end up going 1-15... Anyway, I don't see you as a Homer. I don't think I've ever seen you say that Dawkins is the best safety in the league today (and thank god in not in history) or that Westbrook is the BEST back in the NFL...two VERY homeristic things to do (I think I just made up a word: homeristic).
