The MLB has officially extended its playoff format. They have added one more wild card team to each league. As the new format stands each wild card team will play each other in a winnertakes all game where the winner moves on to play in the Divisional Series. BlueJay fans everywhere are rejoicing now because we may have a chance to sneakinto a playoff spot. We may finally have a chance to make it. Jays fans need to look at the AL as a whole. I am a Blue Jay fan because of geographical reasons. I am a baseball fan because I fully believe there is no other sport that provides its fans with the experiences it generates. I sat bythis winter and watched a team that was once found guilty of keeping itsrevenue sharing instead of spending it, go out and spend mind blowing sums ofmoney. I watched two of the best players in the league test the free-agentwaters at the same time. Both players received contracts that end somewhere inthe stratosphere. I have no tolerance for racism as well. I thought I should say that. I hate it as much as the next guy. I never said otherwise.

Okay, first of all this isn't a forum for your opinions on the state of the world and peoples morals. I am not discrediting racism and I in no way said racism is funny. Quit putting words in my mouth. This "holier than thou" position you're taking is just horse****. Don't start preaching to me about racism. There are comedians that go a lot farther than that on a daily basis and people laugh all the time. If a mexican had made the comment we would be laughing all day long. I can't believe you are taking this so serious. Just let it go. You sound like a major suck when you whine like this. Don't ever put words in my mouth and state something for me again.

I'm all for hearing other peoples opinions on sports, but i have zero tolerance for racism. Did you notice that no one even cared about how heartless his comment was. It's okay for him to make a generalization about Mexican's ("it's funny" in your opinion), but i make Canadians look bad for making a general comment about Americans. Fact is, racism is still prominent in the states, and no one, except a Canadian, disagreed with me. Sad, but true.
