A life long sports fan. I fell in love with The Portland Trailblazers in 1976,the year I moved here. I have been a loyal fan thru thick and thin,so this feels so sweet to be rising from the ashes. My heart was broken in 2000 game 7. That team was so good. I really believe that they would have gone on to win the title that year.

This is a terrific young team on the rise.Portland won their 6th game in a row tonight,yet not one photo or cover story on anysports page.. I just don't get it .. No one cares about Portland, they keep showing the same old stuff over and over..The other night on TNT that fat  b a s t a r d  Charles Barkley and Ernie didn't have even currentnews on Portland.I don't know..I would say the youngest team in the NBA with their best scorer on the benchthat just won their 6th in a row and have played the 5th hardest schedule in the NBA ,would be entitledto a story or…

This is the moniker of a guy who wrote some of the most hateful racial stuff I have ever readand it's on a  website owned by Sports Illustrated..SHAME SHAME SHAME SHAMENot only am I livid about what he says..but that nothing is done about defaming probably the most decent guy that had been drafted in years.I am a middle aged white woman and I will tell you I am furious tonight after reading that post.I am going to post it below,I am so afraid that people didn't see it.I want you to see what Fan Nation allows..

Frankly I had never heard of it before. I saw the link from the Oregonian.I am appaled that Sports Illustrated would even allow such garbage.There is a contest to say funny things about Greg Oden's injury.I don't know what is more appaling..the creap from Sports Illustrated or the postersthat wrote in.
