There is one great story in France's failing to advance from the group stages at Euro 2008 -- namely that Lillian Thuram was not called upon to play any more matches, which increased his likelihood of living a long life. It took two years and some underwhelming results in the Euros, but the man should've stayed coach all along is back in charge of the Azzuri. I understand why Marcello Lippi left the national team after the World Cup. How do you top winning the biggest prize in the world? And I'm sure he needed to recharge the batteries. While national team coaches coach less games than club coaches each game is more important and going through the World Cup campaign must be like going through 3-5 club seasons. I have a lot of respect for Kim Couture being able to withstand the punishment that Kim Rose inflicted on her in her MMA debut, but who is she kidding when she says she wants a rematch because, "I don't think she can whoop me?"Uh, honey she already did. She split your mouth wide open and broke your jaw.
