It's put up or shut up time for the Cats this year. they have really hyped their teams ability to score and really believe they can beat the CARDS this year. My take is they better, if not we will be beating them for another five years and the streak will really extend. Recruiting shows that the CARDS football program is clearly ahead of the cats, we have a young and inexperienced defense this year so that is why people think we are vulnerable, but we still have Brohm, Douglas and U-man. Can Rex become a BEARS version of the Blond Bomber? My hope is that he can come close in performance on the field. I remember Bradhsaw being close to terrible in his first few seasons, but the Stillers (Peter King version) stuck with him and he went to the Hall. AS A Bears fan I'm just hoping he can get one for the finger to start for our team. Rex has to learn that he does not have to be perfect all the time for the BEARS to win, he must become consistent and protective of the ball. Season gets going in three weeks and Bears look poised for another great season. All the drama with Lance is over for the season, we have a healthy Brown and Harris ready to go, and the hunger that comes from a loss in a Super Bowl game that many experts said they would get blown out.
