Equality was one of the fundamentals on which this country was based off of, equality in all aspects of life, especially under the law. So aside from not being a multi-millionaire nothing should separate me from Kobe Bryant or Peyton Manning or Manny Ramirez, under the law that is. Then why is it that athletes can get away with murder and only be under house arrest for a few days, or deal drugs, and only have to pay a miniscule fine?
