YANKEES OVER TWINS, 3-1.
Minnesota sure had a thrilling 163rd game against my crap-out Tigers, but they get into New York in the middle of the night and now have to face the scariest lineup in creation with a rookie pitcher and a bunch of exhausted ones. Nathan has some postseason experience but I seem to recall him skunking a save in a Yankee Stadium playoff game a few years back, so he's no sure thing. If that ain't bad enough, the Bombers are 7-0 against them this year. I'll give the Twinkers…

If I was this Jim Leyland fella, I'd smack every one of these Tigers in the head and spit my chaw in the face of the first one that complained. How do you lose a 3-game first place lead with four to play? And with all the games in your home park? These Twinkies got a great shot at winning the division, and if that happens I'll roll over in the grave I'm supposed to be in. On the other hand, maybe they're just too afraid to face the damn Yanks and want to get the season over with. They're sure playing that way.
