Special TeamsThe Cowboys special teams have vastly improved from last season with DeCammilla as special teams coach. Patrick Crayton returned another punt for a touchdown and the kicker added two more touchbacks. It is obvious that DeCammilla's presence and attitude has begun to transfer to the players, who are playing great special teams. Folk missed a field goal that could eventually cost him his job if he continues to miss even though he has only missed 3 all season long. Won't happen this year, but it could happen next year. As I have stated before that the Cowboys are my favorite team, but like Parcells said it is what it is. And the Cowboys are a middle of the pack team that think they are an elite team. An elite team doesn't commit 4 offsides penalty in one game much less in one drive. Defensively, we also had an unnecessary roughness called on the secondary that kept a drive alive and the hit wasn't even necessary when a good hard tackle would have caused the Chiefs to punt the ball. The Difference
The difference between winning and losing is the width of a person's hair. Even though it is apparent that the turnovers cost Dallas the ball game. There is an intangible that is not obvious and that is that the Giants know how to win and find ways to win while the Cowboys find ways to lose the "Big" game.
Defensively
The Cowboys run defense stopped the Giants vaunted running attack which can just wear a defense down to submission, but it was Eli's passing that beat the Cowboys. The Cowboys decided to have put the game in Manning's hands…
