     Over the past few days, the Chiefs have emerged as a possible landing spot for Peyton Manning. Looking at Matt Cassel's body of work, I'm a little surprised the organization would give up on him so soon. 2009 was his first season with the Chiefs and he was okay (not great, but not horrible either). Cassel played well in 2010: he threw for 3,116 yards; had a 93% passer rating; 27 TD's vs 7 INT's. He was injured in 2011 (along with half the team!). It seems like everyone has their theory about where Peyton Manning will end up when he and the Colts part ways (is there ANY way he stays???). So, I'm going to channel my inner fortune teller.  At the risk of making an a## out of myself, here are a few assumptions: #1 Manning won't sign with any team that is re-building. The Browns' quarterback, Colt McCoy, sustained a concussion during last week's game against the Steelers. He took a violent hit to his head/face when a defender made a helmet to hit. At first, McCoy was unable to stand, and was wobbly as he made his way to the sideline. The Browns medical staff examined McCoy's hand (but not his head). Two plays later, McCoy was back on the field. After the game, it was announced McCoy had a concussion.
Colt McCoy's father called out the Browns for allowing his son to play with a concussion. This is the source of much debate.…
