We've seen some vast surprises in the first-half of the 2008 Major League Baseball Season. The Tampa Bay Rays held onto first place in the American League East for a good amount of time, the Florida Marlins find themselves in contention in the National League East at only 2.5 games back, and the Texas Rangers, despite not having arguably their best offensive player from last year (Sammy Sosa), have the best offense in Major League Baseball.
