Hi, my name is Kari, I am a woman, and I am a sports fan. While my team loyalties lie in Chicago and Pittsburgh, I truly love the sports themselves. If you torture me and force me tell you which one I like the best, I'd tell you that is an impossible question. If you really pushed me, I'd probably break and tell you football...but I'd feel guilty about it.

  I am the first to say that I live a pretty good life. Yeah, I gripe about my Cubicle Idiot and the lunacy that is a 13-year-old-under-the-influence-of-hormones-boy, but in general, life is pretty good. Last month, while enjoying a Cubs game at the Friendly Confines, I was reminded why I love sports so much. I was reminded why the Cubs are so important to me, and why I love Wrigley Field so much. I originally wrote this in December of 2001, as a way to try to process the 9/11 attacks.
