Yes, the Bengals wrecked their run at perfection this past Sunday. No longer staring down the prospect of 0-16. Or rather, embracing it. The Bengals beat a team that came into town on a half tank of gas and decimated by injuries. Which describes the Bengals on most Sundays too. Congratulations to the Bengals for avoiding the distinction of becoming the first team in the History of the NFL to go 0-16 in the regular season. Mike Brown's ownership has produced a 97-180 record. At some point this season, I had considered starting a countdown to Mike's 100th win. Yet, considering the mess Mike made during the off season, I decided to hold back until the Bengals had posted season win number one. At this time, I'm writing the entry just to be done with it. As a point of reference for next season. Since the likelihood of the Bengals winning 3 games in 2008 is slim. There's little more to say about the current state of the Bengals in the NFL. 0-16 is what Mike Brown deserves. May that stigma hang from Mike's neck until he dies forgotten in an old age home.
