I am from South Texas, the Rio Grande Valley, and my fanhood goes like this: Dallas Cowboys, Texas Longhorns, San Antonio Spurs, and the Houston Astros. I'm more than likely going to be joining the military so I'm getting prepared for that physically. Then from there I would like to pursue a career possibly in law enforcement, but if I don't get into that then maybe I can get into another profession like optometry or something that I'm interested in like being a sports columnist.

One thing that is for sure is more often than not when you make a prediction for a win in any game especially a championship game/series it just adds that unnecessary negative pressure to perform thus inducing the "jinx". If Jimmy Rollins would've just not predicted anything and just said something along the lines of "we'll see what happens on the field," and let the playing do all the talking , then more than likely the outcome would've been different.

Pedro Martinez should probably retire after his breakdown and less than "presidente"-like pitcing performance in Game 6 of the World Series which the Yankees ultimately won. He just doesn't have the power anymore, and I feel that if he stays in the league that he may continue to decline. If he wants to continue playing he should develop a workout and strengthening routine such as the one Nolan Ryan used to sustain his great career. Pedro needs to re-gain his power back at least to the point where he can hit 95 every once in a while. Unfortunately I doubt this will happen. All in all its been…

Just when you thought things couldn't get worse for the Oakland Raiders it just did with the revelations of Tom Cable's abusive history. The Raiders have no where to go but up from the bottom of the barrel, just like the St.Louis Rams and Redskins to an extent, but it's really worse for the Raiders. The Raiders need alot of work starting from the top to the bottom of the organization.
