As a former ref , and player - the eye gouging incident involving florida`s spikes is Yawn Media at its finest . The reason you dont see it is because its NOT a problem ! Anybody that does it - usually gets away with it once or twice - but gets run over VERY SOON ! You can get away with it once - but as soon as you are exposed - you get nailed ! Its sort of a right of passage and isnt something you go to coach over ( or worse - the ref ) You play football to establish your manhood - to cry foul is " ladylike ! Sorry - NO NEWS Here ! Now go find some - and get back to me !
