I'm from Houston and I'll admit that I am a homer. I root for all the local teams, especially the pros. For the most part, I am more interested in pro sports than college. The NCAA is a joke in my opinion and I find is delusional that people like college sports because the athletes are "amateurs" and play for "pride". That being said, I will admit that March Madness is the best event in sports. I graduated from Montana and you'll see Alabama on my list of favorites, because my wife is a fanatic.

Anyone who watched the Hall of Justice cartoons probably remembers Bizarro Superman.  His character was the inverse of the original Superman, representing everything that Superman represented in opposite.  He lived in a bizarro world (a planet shaped like a cube) where all logic was turned upside down.  Watching today's Houston Texans is like visting bizarro world.  The Panthers whom the Texans beat soundly today were once Superman to to our bizarro franchise.  In 2002, the Texans opened for business with Dom Capers, who led the Panthers to the NFC championship…

I feel great for him.  More importantly, the D-line was awesome.  In fact, when the Cheifs got the ball with one last gasp... after the Texans sucked the life out of them with a 10+ minute drive.. the D-line absolutely swarmed them.  Travis Johnson had a beautiful pick after dropping into coverage.  This is the kind of paly the Texans needed from them.…

I am so excited about the opeing kickoff of the NFL season.  Saturday proved to be another boring day of college blowouts and provided no substitute for today.  Texans take the field vs. the Cheifs.  I beleive the Texans will show something.  The Cheifs have some holes, especially on the offensive line.  Larry Johnson has made a mockery of the Texans in his past games against us.  However, this year, Reliant Stadium should be rockin'.  I'll take Texans over the Cheifs 24-20.  Let's look at the games most intriguing matchups:Schaub and Johnson…
